Digital Video, the Internet, and Education

The second intellectual production for ETEC565B required an analysis of a technology to look at when, where and how it has been used in education. Having had digital video approved as my technology for analysis, I created 5 slides to convey the content of this analysis. As per the assignment requirements, I utilized McLuhan’s tetrad to situate this technology in relation to its context, its predecessors, and its successors. I was then given the opportunity to further develop the concepts in these slides and integrate Latour’s perspective on objects as quasi-subjects which is now included as an extention of the original project below. If you would like to download a PDF of these slides for viewing, please click here.
